01 BUTCHERS

Thorncliffe Farm Shop sells award-winning quality, family-reared beef directly from the family farm. Our other meats are bred and reared by local producers, including family members, the Gawthorpes. All of our meat is prepared by our experienced and dedicated in-house butchers, who will be happy to assist you in selecting the perfect cut and cooking advice.

Our products have won many awards over the years. We were awarded the 'National Supreme Product Championships Gold Award' for our beef burgers, steak and onion pie and our fantastic pork and red onion sausage, amongst others.

02 THE DELI

We sell a selection of exceptional quality foods from our Deli, including homemade pastries, award-winning pies, sausage rolls, quiches, fresh cooked and sliced meats, beef, turkey, ham, ox tongue, corned beef, and pork.

The Deli also boasts a delicious range of cheeses from Holmfirth cheese producer Michael Lee, Wensleydale Creamery, Award-Winning Shepherds Purse, Yorkshire Fine Cheese Company, and beyond. Also, from local Cheddars, Blues, and French Brie.

Our Deli also sells a wide range of:

Meat and fish pates
Marinated and stuffed olives, peppers, anchovies
Dips and sandwich fillers
Locally sourced yogurts, cream, milk, cottage cheese
Homemade cakes, sweet tarts and pies.

Cooked three times a week we also have a range of homemade ready meals cottage pie, chilli, chicken pasta, sausage and liver, steak and dumplings, even mash and peas to go with our pork pies.

Looking for any dry products, we've probably got them. From artisan sauces to beers and wines, cheese biscuits to flour, our larder is stacked with the finest products.

Get the best, fresh produce with our quality fresh fruit and vegetables.

We visit the veggie market, where we hand-pick all our fresh fruit and vegetables. When we can go directly to the grower, you can guarantee a great potato from our local farmer in Barnsley.

Most of our fruit and veg are grown here in the UK, but we may have to go further afield for more exotic fruits. We stock the very best of seasonal vegetables and fruit too.
